 The surrounding territory to the Residence Acquedolci is a part of the Park of the Nebrodi, creation on purpose for protect the samples of fauna and flora that they live this uncontaminated part from Sicily. Geograficamente the Nebrodi Mountains, with the Peloritani to east and the Madonie to west, they constitute the Appennino [siculo], they appear, to north, directly on the Tirreno Sea, while their southern limit has marked from Etna, particularly from the Alcantara river and from the top course of the Simeto.

 

Today the protected area of the Park reverts in the territory of 21 communes I divided in:
- 17 in the province of Messina (Alcara Melt you, Capizzi, Caronia, Cesaṛ, Floresta, Galati Mamertino, Longi, Militello Rosmarino, Mistretta, Sant'Agata Militello, Domenica Saint Victory, St. Fratello, St. Marco of Alunzio, Stephen Saint of Camastra, St. Teodoro, Tortorici, Ucria),
- 3 in the province of Catania (Bronte, Maniace, Randazzo),
- 1 in the province of Enna (Cerami).
